DjangoCon is the first official international Django conference. It aims to bring together the community and provide a wide range of sessions, panels, lightning talks and showcases of Django usage within various businesses.
Our ultimate aim is to provide an affordable event, which brings together Django communities from all over the world. We are a volunteer driven organisation, and i'd like to thank all those who have offered advice or gone out of their way to make DjangoCon possible!
As DjangoCon and EuroDjangoCon gets bigger, there will be a need for more structure. I'm currently working on something now that will provide a more organised approach to both conferences.

Robert Lofthouse
Robert is the Technical Director of Siu Design Limited (a Django/design shop based in London), a Django Software Engineer at GCAP Media, co-founder of DJUGL (Django User Group London) and Chairman of both DjangoCon and EuroDjangoCon. Robert has been using Django since it's first public release, and is still loving it! :)
